Terms of Service

Bookings

Bookings are subject to availability. We may request additional details to confirm service scope and access.

  1. Scope definition
    1. Customer must provide accurate service scope, property type, special instructions, and access details.
    2. Any hazardous conditions, delicate items, or access restrictions must be disclosed before service day.
  2. Scheduling
    1. Requested dates/times are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email or SMS from PureNorth Cleaning.
    2. Arrival windows are typically 1–2 hours to account for traffic and prior job variability.
  3. Access to premises
    1. Customer must ensure safe entry (keys, codes, concierge authorization, or on-site presence).
    2. If access is not possible within 20 minutes of team arrival, a no-access fee may apply.
  4. Preparation
    1. Kindly declutter surfaces and secure valuables. We do not manage heavy lifting unless agreed in writing.
    2. Pets should be secured if they may impede safe and efficient work.
  5. Changes to booking
    1. Material changes to scope, location, or condition may require price and time adjustments.
    2. We may refuse unsafe or unlawful tasks and propose alternatives where feasible.

Cancellations

Please provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule to avoid a fee.

  1. Reschedule window
    1. 24+ hours notice: no fee, subject to availability.
    2. Under 24 hours: up to 50% of the estimated service fee may apply.
  2. No-show or no-access
    1. If our team cannot access the property or the client is not present when required, a call-out fee may be charged.
    2. Repeated no-shows may lead to suspension of future bookings.
  3. Weather and force majeure
    1. For severe weather or events beyond control, we may reschedule without penalty.
    2. We are not liable for delays caused by such events; we will communicate promptly to rebook.
  4. Refunds
    1. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
    2. Deposits may be credited to future services at our discretion.

Liability

We are insured. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service to the extent permitted by law.

  1. Reasonable care
    1. Our teams exercise reasonable care and use professional-grade products suitable for common finishes.
    2. Customer must notify us of sensitive surfaces or manufacturer-specific care requirements in advance.
  2. Damage and loss
    1. Report any alleged damage or service issues within 48 hours with photos and a description.
    2. Where verified, we may repair, replace, or credit up to the amount paid for the affected service.
  3. Exclusions
    1. Pre-existing wear, degradation, or improper installation/maintenance are excluded.
    2. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  4. Health and safety
    1. We may decline work with mold, biohazards, pests, or unsafe environments and propose specialized services.
    2. Customer must provide running water, electricity, and safe working conditions.
  5. Indemnity
    1. Customer agrees to indemnify and hold PureNorth Cleaning harmless from claims arising from Customer breach of these Terms or unlawful instructions.
  6. Governing law
    1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and applicable federal laws of Canada.

Payments

Prices are in CAD. Taxes may apply based on your province. Invoices are provided by email.

  1. Accepted methods
    1. Major credit/debit cards and e-transfer are accepted unless otherwise stated.
    2. Cash payments must be exact; our teams do not carry change.
  2. Deposits and holds
    1. For some bookings, a deposit or pre-authorization hold may be required to secure your slot.
    2. Holds are released per your bank’s policy after completion or cancellation per these Terms.
  3. Due dates and late payment
    1. Payment is due upon completion unless expressly agreed otherwise.
    2. Overdue balances may incur interest at 2% per month (24% per annum) where permitted by law.
  4. Pricing adjustments
    1. Quoted prices assume typical conditions. Excessive dirt, clutter, or scope changes may require an updated quote.
    2. We will communicate and obtain approval before performing out-of-scope work.
  5. Disputes and satisfaction
    1. If you are dissatisfied, contact us within 48 hours. We may offer a re-clean of the affected areas.
    2. Re-cleans must be scheduled within 7 days and do not constitute a refund.

General Terms

  1. Acceptable use: Services must not be used for unlawful purposes or to facilitate illegal activity.
  2. Third-party premises: If you book for a third party, you represent you have authority and will ensure these Terms are met.
  3. Non-solicitation: For 12 months after service, you agree not to solicit our staff for private work without our written consent.
  4. Severability: If any provision is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  5. Amendments: We may update these Terms; the version at service time applies. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
  6. Entire agreement: These Terms and your booking confirmation form the entire agreement for the service described.

By scheduling or receiving services from PureNorth Cleaning, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
